Easy Vacation Skincare Routine

Easy Vacation Skincare Routine

Are for your amazing vacation?

Don't forget about your skin!

When planning to head to your favorite outdoor spot for a vacation, we enjoy leaving our busy schedules and daily routines behind. However, one thing that should be continued is your skincare routines to protect our skin from any damage. Here are some simple tips that you can easily follow while on a vacation –

·         Avoid Processed and Junk Foods Wherever Possible – While this may seem impossible when you are on vacation, you may want to limit snacks like candies, chips and other carbohydrates. It is best to pick fresh fruits and veggies on the way to avoid the temptation of buying any unhealthy snacks. Save your appetite for that fancy restaurant you have been wanting to check out.

·         Use a Cleanser At least Twice a Day – At home, most of us use our cleanser once a day, but on vacation, it is best to wash your face with a gentle cleanser at least twice a day, once in the morning and once before going to bed. After being in the heat and high humidity throughout the day, you need to wash your face at night to avoid any impurities from settling on your skin. This will also make you much fresher before or after a long day.

·         Drink Plenty of Water – This should go without saying, but water is essential. Staying hydrated is very important while on vacation, especially if you are travelling to a place with high temperatures. Depending on where you are traveling tap water may not be the best idea. Always carry bottles of water with your or you can easily purchase them when you travel.

·         Always Use a Sunscreen on Your Body – This one is the one we always forget! No sun in sight, so no need for sunscreen, right? This is one big mistake. Always use  sunscreen before you head out, regardless of what the weather looks like. Also keep in mind that most sunscreens have a limited activity time, it is best to carry one with yourself and reapply after about 4-5 hours.

Since travelling can be a stressful time for your skin, you need to take extra care of your skin and nourish it. This way you will be able to maintain healthy glow in your skin and keep it away from any harm. Here's to coming back just as great as when you left for vacation!
